Missions

Missions Team

The Loveland Christian Church Missions Team exists to extend the church’s role in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by supporting Christian missionaries or agencies to evangelize lost souls and to teach Christian maturity.

Below is a list of some of the missions LCC supports.  We also support missionaries who work in areas of the world that are not friendly to the gospel message, so we do not identify them online for their protection.

Evangelistic Missions

These individuals and organizations actively work to spread the gospel message and fulfill the Great Commission.

Jorge and Diana Lugo - Venezuela

Our main objective has been to announce the good news, plant churches, and make disciples who make disciples. We have been providing church planting training and discipleship tools (such as Zume courses, Jonathan Training, and Kairos). In recent years our family has been able to meet physical needs of people living in desperate times because of faithful prayer partners and financial support. We have been holding Bible studies in the prison, providing basic supplies and simple meals to neighborhoods, and bringing hope and help to orphans. We study the book of Romans with people who are just starting to learn about God, and it’s an honor to baptize new believers. Through our small acts of obedience over the years and in conjunction with wonderful teammates, hundreds of people have experienced the love of Jesus in Caracas, and thousands of people have been born again because of our partners who enable this ministry.  New churches are rising up in Venezuela, and new leaders are stepping forward in faith.

EnterMission

EnterMission is a gap year program for young adults aimed at grounding them in a Christian worldview, especially as it applies to a life’s work – wherever and whatever that may be. It involves 6 months or 12 months away from home in training and a missions trip.
Like most Christians,  you’ve studied the Bible, heard lots of sermons,  and gone to camps and conferences,  yet you still hunger for a deeper experience with God. You don’t want to just believe, but make a difference in the world.
Entermission is dedicated to helping you do this by guiding and coaching you in your spiritual development, within the context of community, while also providing practical, hands-on training with people from diverse backgrounds that will last your entire life.

Also, the play teaches that Jesus is real and Christians should reach out and help troubled teens. Counselors are there after the Play to talk with teens or anyone who wants help with a problem in life. Parents and adults help lead the teens who present the play locally and also travel to other cities to share the good news of Jesus.

Faith and Works

Faith and Works operates out of Florence, Kentucky and supports Mexico missions which, over the years, have faced many challenges like COVID and drug cartels. There is also a negative bias toward the Mexican that are difficult to overcome when trying to plant new churches. These challenges also make it difficult to recruit workers and gain financial support.

This ministry has built new churches, dentist and doctors offices, church camp buildings, parsonages, and a children's home. In the United States they have responded to natural disaster areas where tornadoes, hurricanes and floods which have disrupted people's lives.

Faith and Work's short-term teams work closely with missionaries in the field, providing aid through evangelism, building and construction, and the uplifting of Christ’s kingdom in fellowshipping with all brethren.

Their desire is to continue building and supporting relationships with missionaries in the field, internationally in Mexico where church plants are  vital to the spreading of Jesus Christ’s gospel. They work with groups such as IDES and the Church of Christ Disaster Response
Team in supporting efforts whenever needed.
